A man was assaulted as he tried to reclaim a stolen bicycle.

The victim and the owner of the bike approached the cyclist. He was then hit by the cyclist, who made off on the bicycle.

The incident happened in Brigstowe Street on Tuesday, December 1 at 12.30pm. The attacker was described as mixed race, wearing a red hoodie with the word Bristol in white across the front, blue jeans and black shoes.
