Bosses from bus company First will field questions from passengers and councillors at a meeting in Thornbury next week.

Operations director Jenny MacLeod and commercial director Simon Cursio have been invited to a South Gloucestershire Council planning, transport and environment select committee meeting to respond to questions and concerns about First's services from councillors.

But members of the public can also attend and speak for up to five minutes.

They will also be able to present petitions or ask questions, either directly or through their local councillor.

The meeting takes place at 3pm on Wednesday, July 22, at the council offices in Castle Street, Thornbury.

Anyone who wants to speak should contact Gordon Moss on 01454 86 3014.

“I've got a question for First:

When will you clear out of the Bristol area and let another company who are actually capable of running a reliable and reasonably priced public transport system to take over?”
