AN EXHIBITION of work by Bristol artist Kathryn Thomas was due to finish tonight.

The show, at Paintworks in Brislington, includes more than 100 paintings she has done over the last three years, of stars, skies and planets.

Many of the works were inspired by her visits to Iceland to experience the northern lights.

Kathryn, 44, of Windmill Hill, said: "I have been absolutely delighted with the response to the exhibition. It has been quite overwhelming."

The exhibition will be open from 11am until 6pm today.
