CHILDREN took part in a Colourasaurus competition at Upfest in Bedminster on the weekend, with the help of a south Bristol artist.

Andy Council, 37, will be using his skills to help Bristol Zoo promote Dinozoo which returns on March 22.

He has created a book called Colourasaurus and people who purchase it can enter the competition and post their efforts online in a bid to be judged best. On Saturday children, and even adults, were able to get tips from the master of dinosaur art and were encouraged to colour in a dinosaur for the competition.
