Art comes to Bristol's Botanic Gardens
Bristol University’s Botanic Gardens is to play host to an exhibition of sculpture featuring everything from driftwood horses to Islamic stainless steel sculptures.
The show, which will run across Easter, will feature work by a broad range of students and professional artists.
“This exhibition enables visitors to see the uniqueness of the plant collections at the Botanic Garden in a different light, as a context for displaying sculpture inspired by the natural world,” said curator, Nicholas Wray.
“The garden provides the stimulus and setting to inspire students and provide a backdrop to their work in a range of educational artistic activities.”
