Arson attack on Halloween night damages Bristol flats
A BLOCK of flats was badly damaged by fire in the early hours of this morning.
Avon Fire and Rescue and Avon and Somerset police are treating the blaze in an internal bin room on Waterloo Road, near Old Market, as arson.
The fire started to spread at about 2.20am, destroying the external door, cracking a first floor window and leaving black soot all the way up the front of the three-storey building.
No-one was injured in the fire and fire investigators are still trying to find out what caused it.

The room in question was used by private tenants in the flats to store their waste bins.
Two crews of firefighters from Temple fire station attended and put the fire out.
