Arrests over armed robbery
Four people were arrested and bailed after an armed robbery at a garden nursery near Berkeley.
Police were called to the scene in Heathfield just after 6pm on Monday after reports that five men carrying guns had stolen a quantity of cash.
The offenders had fled in a black vehicle by the time police arrived.
A 51-year-old man suffered a head wound during the incident and received hospital treatment.
Police said evidence of a suspected cannabis factory was later discovered at the property and a 51-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, all from Heathfield, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the production of controlled drugs.
A 23-year-old man from Wotton-under-Edge was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon.
All have been bailed until July 8 pending further inquiries.
Detectives have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or saw the black vehicle leave the scene to contact them.
