Arrest after Bristol robbery
Police arrested a man within minutes of a robbery in Church View, Filton.
It happened at around midday on Monday, when a shopkeeper was on his way to bank his takings.
The victim was grabbed and pushed to the floor in the attack. Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Jenny Bigwood said: "Local people came forward to give officers information at the scene.
"Police searched the area, recovering the cash, and arrested a man nearby. A 27-year-old man from Bristol has been charged with robbery and is due before Northavon Magistrates."
