Armed robber grabs cash in opticians raid
AN ARMED robber stole an undisclosed amount of cash when he held up an optician at knifepoint.
Police say the man struck at Boots Opticians in Coniston Road, Patchway, at around 1.50pm yesterday.
The robber was white, about 5ft 8in tall and slim. He was wearing a dark hooded jumper and a camouflage bandana.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they know the raider should call the police on 101.
