The winner on the day was Terry Hawkins, who fished a variety of baits and methods at peg six for a 17-0-0 catch consisting of two carp weighing 14-9-0 plus 2-7-0 of silvers.

She poled soft pellet into the lakeside margins of peg three and weighed in a three-carp catch totalling 19-8-0.

He poled soft pellet to the edge of an island of lily pads at five metres off peg five for three carp and a few bits.

Nethercott alternated between a long and short pole with soft pellet at peg 40 for an 83-5-0 mixed bag.
