Ambulance service recruits new director
A NEW executive medical director has been appointed to Bristol's ambulance service.
Alison Walker will work four days per week when she joins South Western Ambulance Service (SWAS), which now runs the city's NHS service, in April.

She currently works for Yorkshire Ambulance Service and is chairwoman of the National Ambulance Service Medical Directors' Group.
SWAS chief executive Ken Wenman said: "I am delighted Alison is joining the trust to expand the important clinical leadership role.
