CHANNEL 4's The Restoration Man, architect George Clarke, visited B&Q in Cribbs Causeway – all in the name of saving energy and money.

The celebrity ambassador was met by store manager Mark Fountain and the B&Q energy saving advisers to be shown how low income households in Bristol could be eligible for a free replacement boiler under a new scheme.

The Feel the Benefit scheme, run by B&Q Energy Saving, could help thousands of households benefit with a warmer home this winter.

It is run in association with the Energy Company Obligation, which will help the Government meet targets to make lower income and vulnerable homes "Feel the Benefit" of a warmer home by phasing out old and broken boilers.
