Almondsbury Town maintained their winning streak under new boss Richard Thompson with a 5-3 home win over Ardley United in the Hellenic League Premier Division.

Marcus Mapstone, Ross Stearn (2), Brad Andrews and Sahr Kabba netted for Town.

In Division One West, there was no happy send-off for Winterbourne United manager Stewart Jones, who is off to a new job in France, as his side went down 2-1 at home to Clanfield, while Tytherington Rocks went out of Hellenic League Bluefin Insurance Cup at the preliminary round stage as they were beaten 3-2 after extra-time at Letcombe.
