Ali Baba is Clevedon pantomime
The story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves will be brought to life this month at the annual Clevedon Comedy Club pantomime.
A 30-strong cast will be performing the classic tale of how two brothers – one who is greedy – find a cave full of riches stolen by a gang of 40 thieves.

The comedy club has been running since 1972 and each year performs a traditional pantomime at the town's community centre.
Club member Glyn Legge said: "The pantomime is a real family show and there is plenty of live music and opportunities for people to shout the classic line 'it's behind you'.
"Our cast members range in ages, but this year we have a strong youth element involved in the show."
The panto runs from January 22-24 at 7.30pm nightly at the Princes Theatre at the community centre and there is a matinee on January 24 at 2.30pm.
Tickets, at £5 for adults and £4 concessions, are available from the community centre, Tag 1 in Clevedon, and online at www.clevedoncomedyclub. co.uk.
