Adam Cole backed to pep up Oldland Abbotonians attack
Spencer Thomas is confident the arrival of Adam Cole can pep up the Oldland Abbotonians attack as they bid to continue their march up the table.
Cole recently left Hellenic League high-fliers Almondsbury Town and enjoyed a winning debut last Saturday as Oldland overcame Almondsbury UWE 3-0.

Manager Thomas, who has also introduced 19-year-old winger Tom Daly to his squad, is keen to hang on to Cole for as long as possible, starting with fifth-placed Oldland's home clash with struggling Chard Town.
He said: "I played with Adam at Bitton and I know he's capable of making the step-up again. He's a proven goalscorer and I hope to get as much out of him as possible."
Almondsbury UWE manager Danny Phillips has blamed a long casualty list for his team's poor run of results. Almonds entertain Minehead smarting from eight straight league defeats but Phillips pointed out: "We had 14 of our best players missing through injury – 17 in total – against Oldland and it's making life extremely hard."
Chris Manns replaces banned keeper Chris Astley as Keynsham Town go to high-flying Gillingham Town in buoyant mood after three straight wins.
"The lads are thoroughly enjoying their football and clearly keen to keep the run going," said manager Steve Cains, who is without left-sided midfielder Gary McDermott.
