Actors put on special show in Broadmead
An Australian theatre group will be performing in the middle of Broadmead today (thurs).
Six actors from the Back to Back Theatre will be staging Small Metal Objects at the central Podium, opposite BHS.
With individual sets of headphones, the audience is wired-in to a drama being played out somewhere in the crowd.
The show is about Gary and Steve, two men who usually escape notice, who play an inadvertent but pivotal role in the night of two ambitious executives they've arranged to meet for a transaction.
Bristol's Arnolfini and Bristol Old Vic have teamed up for the first time to present the remarkable show which has been a hit all over the world.
There will be seven performances over four days, starting today at 1pm.
All the actors have learning disabilities.
Thursday May 21 - Sunday May 24, 1pm; May 21-22 , 5pm; May 23, 4pm. May 22, is a BSL interpreted performance.
Tickets cost £15.00/£10.00 concessions (including under 18s)
Tickets from Arnolfini and Bristol Old Vic Box office.
