Action needed to curb number of otters breeding in the wild
THE introducing of otters into the wild has got totally out of hand.
These so-called animal lovers are putting far too many back into the wild.
Some friends of mine with commercial fisheries are having to put chain link fences sunk deep into the ground to protect their fish stocks.
These stocks cost many thousand of pounds to put in place.
Do these people not realise that otters breed?
When I was young they had otter hounds and otters were controlled.
I do not advocate this as an answer but I do feel that it is fast becoming a problem.
