80-year-old woman's bag snatched in Bristol
An 80-year-old woman fell to the ground when a thief snatched her handbag as she walked along Robertson Road, Easton, on Friday.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the robbery which happened just before 1pm.
The thief was black, aged between 25 and 30, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall, and of skinny build. His hair was tied in a short pony tail and he had a small tuft of hair beneath his bottom lip.
He was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans with red writing on them halfway up the right calf, and green and black trainers with a Nike type logo.

“Awful. I hope the poor woman is okay. Robertson Road is a den of thieves and a public toilet and rubbish bin - in the parts where the cars aren't speeding by at twice the speed limit. Call the police and the neighbors put a brick through your window. Yucky place, glad to have left it behind.”
