Give 50p and we will reach our target
WE ARE nearly there. The Cots for Tots appeal has passed the £950,000 mark. That means there is just £50,000 to go to reach the £1 million target.
To have got to this stage in a little over a year and during a recession is frankly remarkable.
And everyone who has supported this appeal has directly helped in saving the lives of premature babies and those in need of specialist care.
For those of you who may not yet have given please look at the pictures of the three little mites on our front page today.
It is for babies like Archie, Paige and Tyler that the Cots for Tots appeal was launched.
Without the extra cots at St Michael's that this appeal has provided these triplets may have been sent to different hospitals adding to the anxiety for their parents.
Thanks to the new cots at St Michael's they are being cared for as they should be – together.
We are all facing tough times at the moment, we are all watching the pounds.
But if everyone in Bristol was to give just 50p we would comfortably reach and pass the £1 million appeal target.
So if you can make a donation please do. It will help save the lives of little souls like the Barlow triplets for years to come.
