40th anniversary for Downend Fireworks Show
Downend Fireworks Show, organised by the Great Western Round Table, will be held on King George V Playing Fields, Sutherland Avenue, on Friday.
It is the 40th anniversary of the event, which is raising money for the Great Western Air Ambulance.
The night kicks off with a children's display at 6.30pm, with the main display starting at 7.30pm.

A firework extravaganza is to be held at Yatton Rugby Football Club.
The event, organised by Yatton Infant School Association (YISA), is on Friday at the sports ground. Gates open 5.30pm and the display starts at 6.30pm. Food and drinks will be available with a covered viewing area, indoor bar and seating. Tickets in advance from Yatton Newsagents, post office and from the infant and junior school for £4 each or £12 for a family. Tickets on the night for £5 or £15 for a family with money going to YISA.
A display will take place at the parish fields of St Patrick's Church, off Blackswarth Road in Redfield on Friday. Gates open at 6.30pm, with the display at 7.30pm. Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for children. There will be burgers and hot dogs, sweets and a bar available.
Bristol Zoo is hosting its Bangless Bonfire Nights on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 5.30pm.

Keynsham Rugby Club firework night will be held on Saturday at Crown Field, Bristol Road.

A free wristband and glow stick will be given to the first 500 children to attend Easter Compton Firework Fiesta, which takes place at the village playing field on Saturday.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm with the firework display to start around 7pm.

A night of fireworks will take place in the grounds of a hotel in Congresbury.
On Saturday the grounds of the club at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House, will be transformed to celebrate Bonfire Night.
Celebrations will begin at 4.30pm and carry on throughout the night with a children's entertainment show at 5pm. The firework display will end the evening with a bang at 6.30pm. Also entertaining guests on the night will be face painting, a children's entertainer, a pets corner, popcorn, candyfloss, a barbecue and a drinks tent.

Children's farm Puxton Park near Weston-super-Mare will hold its Explosive Firework Display on Saturday.
Tickets, now on sale at the farm, are priced at £4 per person before the night and £5 per person on the night. Children three years and under go free.

The indoor play barn will be open and supervised by Puxton staff.
The Thornbury Round Table Firework and Bonfire Night is held on Saturday at the Mundy Playing Fields.
Gates open at 5.30pm, a children's entertainer will perform at 6pm, a children's firework display will take place at 6.30pm, bonfire will be lit at 7.10pm with the main display at 7.40pm. It will include a fair, food stalls, fireworks, sparklers and bonfire.
Ticket prices on the gate are £5 for adults and £3 for children.

The sky above Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground in Nevil Road is set to light up on Sunday with a spectacular fireworks display.
The popular event is run by the club's Bristol region in aid of club funds. The evening includes two displays, one especially for children, with gates opening at 5pm. There will also be fairground rides, sideshows, bar and food outlets.
Tickets, £5 for adults and £3 for children, can be purchased from the ground reception during office hours or from 10am on the day.
Free parking is available at the ground via the Ashley Down road entrance.
A free Fireworks Party, featuring live performances from artists including Bristol Reggae Orchestra will be held at the Trinity Centre in Lawrence Hill.

It is being organised by Bradley Stoke Town Council and Kimbolton Fireworks.
