Fruit, vegetables and flowers filled Trinity Hall in Pilning for one of the highlights of the village year.

The annual flower show celebrated its 40th anniversary this year and is as well supported now as it has ever been throughout its history.

Much of the produce, as well as entries from the baking classes, was auctioned off after judging was completed and prizes handed out.

The money raised was donated to the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), the biggest independent lifeboat service in the UK.
