Stuck for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas for how to spend your weekend in Bristol.

1. The Festival of Nature is taking place over the weekend, with talks and interactive events taking place around the Harbourside.

2. Don't forget that it's Father's Day this weekend. Dads go free at Bristol Zoo for the day on Sunday with another adult or child who buy a ticket.

3. St Werburgh's City Farm is holding its summer fair on Saturday from 12pm-7pm - there will be food, music and other entertainment.

4. As the finale of Big Green Week, Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride will be happening on Sunday, starting from Anchor Road by the Harbourside.

    I do hope the ambulance that was marooned, with blue lights and sirens going, and could go nowhere due to the ineptitude of the council authorising this fiasco, including no outbound traffic on Hotwells Road, (why the Hell couldn't the bloody runners have run a longside the docks?), so you couldn't evevn turn around and go home, wasn't going to anything serious.......”
