5. Head to at St George's on Tuesday at 6.30pm for Rush Hour Classics: Daniel Tong – Beethoven Explained. In this second Rush Hour Classics concert of the season, pianist Daniel Tong returns to uncover another of Beethoven’s piano sonatas. Before performing the ‘Pastoral’ in full, Daniel looks deeper into the story behind the music, revealing hidden depths. Immerse yourself in a well-loved classic, or perhaps discover it for the first time. Tickets £12 or free to under-25s, students and jobseekers.

6. Peter White thinks he's hilarious. Other people seem to agree. Born in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada, Peter has gone on to accomplish a lot in a short time. He recorded his own hour long Comedy Network stand up special, was nominated for Canadian Comedy Award and a Writer's Guild of Canada Award, and appeared in a TV miniseries with Pierce Brosnan. You can catch him at The Comedy Box on Friday at 8.45pm.

7. You can watch Bristol Rovers take on Rotherham on Tuesday night at 7.45pm at the Memorial Stadium.

8. Bar of the week to try: Banco Lounge

9. Restaurant of the week to try: Casa Mexicana

10. Recipe of the week to give a go if you decide to eat in: Rhubarb panna cotta with roasted rhubarb

And if you need some ideas for the weekend, check back at ThisisBristol later in the week.
